Benchmark Ecological was established to provide ecological advice, assessment and reporting for private, development and public land projects.
With more than 20 years of experience in ecological consulting, local government and land management, and current VQA accreditation, we understand the technical requirements of ecological assessment and the considerations involved in planning and managing land.
About
Benchmark Ecological is a principal-led consultancy providing ecological assessment and environmental planning services. We focus on providing clear, detailed information that considers both the technical requirements of ecological assessment and the practical realities of planning and managing land.
Our work is informed by experience across ecological consulting, local government and land management, including development projects, infrastructure, public land and private property. This experience helps us understand the different requirements and perspectives involved in ecological assessment and environmental planning.
Clients work directly with an experienced ecologist throughout their project, from initial discussions and scoping through to assessment, reporting and recommendations. Where specialist expertise is required, appropriately qualified professionals can be engaged and coordinated as part of the project.
